From the Concejalia de Servicios Sociales and Caritas we would like to appeal for help from the people of Beniarbeig to collect food for people who need it. Anyone wishing to collaborate can leave their donations in the boxes located in the entrance to the Centro cultural during the library opening times (Mon to Thurs 4-8pm, Fri 10am to 2pm).

Foodstuffs should be non perishable, such as:

• Basic products:sugar, olive oil, sunflower oil, salt
• Sweet items: breakfast cereals, biscuits, cocoa milk
• Fruit and vegetables :fruit juice, tinned fruit, pulped tomatoes
• Pre cooked food: jars of lentils, broad beans, chickpeas, meat balls, stock , soup
• Cereals and pulses:chickpeas, lentils, tinned sweetcorn, flour, toasted bread,
• Meat and fish :chorizo , tuna, sardines , pate
• Personal hygiene : shampoo, shower gel , toothpaste, detergent, bleach, toilet paper etc
