A group of volunteers, supported by the councillor for Social Services, Christine Cook, have restarted the Spanish-English language intercambio sessions that were so successful last year but which had to be stopped due to the pandemic. The sessions take place on Wednesdays in the library and there are 2 different slots to adapt to people’s timetables, in the mornings from 9.30am to 11am and in the evenings from 7.30pm to 9pm.

The organisers stress that it’s the perfect environment in which to do fun activities, where the Spanish speakers help the foreigners with their Spanish and the English speakers help the Spanish speakers with their English. They encourage you to make the most of this unique opportunity, as the sessions are free. Anyone wanting more information can contact the library.
